He was a member of the Upsilon Phi Delta Society, a national academic honor society for students in health care administration. Kendall received the leadership in community service award from the UNF Center for Aging Research and was on the dean’s list and president’s honor roll. He completed an Administrator in Training Program at Vicar’s Landing in 2011 with Bruce Jones acting as preceptor. Kendall then joined the company in 2013 as director of health services for the Glenmoor community, and his role expanded in 2014 to include the Vicar’s Landing community, where he oversaw the assisted living facility, skilled nursing, wellness clinic, rehabilitation, and the Vicar’s Landing Home Health agency. As executive director, he oversees all day-to-day operations of the community.
